HARMONIC SOCIETY TO GIVE CONCERT SHORTLY.
The Christchurch I-larmonic Society has made arrangements for Joan Boniface, a thirteen years old Christchurch girl, who has been remarkably successful in recent examinations, to play at the society's concert next week at the Civic Theatre. Joan is a pupil of Miss Bessie Pollard, and was the gold medallist in the senior division throughout New Zealand for 1930. The society has consistently followed the policy of encouraging young local talent, and subscribers will welcome the opportunity of hearing this young pianiste. The box plan for the concert will open at Chas. Begg and Co.’s next Tonday morning.
