"GREEIC STREET’ COMES TO ST JAMES - SATURDAY
“ Tiger Rose ” and the fine supporting programme will be shown for the last time to-night. To-morrow, at the St James* Theatre, Sir Benjamin and John Fuller will present an all-British programme, headed by the suner British talking, singing and musical production, “ Greek Street.” For this production night scenes were filmed in Piccadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue and Soho Square. There is a romantic story in “Greek Street,” in which the leading role is played by the charming Sari Maritza, a new recruit to the talkeis, over whom the critics were in raptures on the film’s presentation in London. Other artists who ; play leading roles are William Freshman and Bert Coote. The famous Trocadero Girls also appear and render some tuneful numbers. “Greek Street” is an entertaining photo-play that will appeal to everybody. The charming English voice*? of the players are distinctly refreshing. Well photographed, superbly staged, capably acted, and possessing a simple but yet enthralling story, the film offers real popular entertainment. The box plans are at The Bristol.
