"BEESON MURDER CASESCREENING AT REGENT.
The principal picture at the Regent Theatre is “ The Benson Murder Case.” There are the usual comedies and other items of an interesting nature. “ THE STORM.” Hailed as the talking screen’s most thrilling outdoor drama, “ The Storm ’ will be presented at the Regent on Monday next. Lupe Velez, the clever and charming Mexican actress, William Boyd and Paul Kavanagh are the stars. The central situation of “ The Storm ” is sufficiently dramatic in itself. Two men, old friends, are penned up in a snow-bound cabin in the Canadian wilds with the girl whom both love. While death by starvation closes down upon all three, the love-hunger in the hearts of the men hourly brings each closer and closer to the other’s throat. In addition to the tense emotional effects, there are natural thrills of intensity in the avalanches, blizzards and terrific snow storms that are depicted with vivid realism. The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company.
