ULIMAROA arrived at Wellington on Tuesday morning from Sydney; to leave Wellington to-day for Sydney, where she is due on December 2. MARAMA leaves Sydney to-day for Auckland, where she is due on December 2. MAHENO arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin. She left Lyttelton last evening for Wellington, Bluff and Melbourne. VANCOUVER AND ’FRISCO SERVICE. AORANGI left Vancouver for Auckland and Sydney on November 12. Due Suva to-day and Auckland on December 1. To leave Auckland on December 2 for Sydney, where she is due on December 6. NIAGARA left Auckland on November 18 for Vancouver. Due Honolulu 3*esterday and Vancouver December 5. MAKURA arrived at San Francisco November 21 from Wellington. She left on the return trip on November 26. TOFL'A, from Suva, arrived at Auckland on Monday. She will leave Auckland for the Islands to-morrow. KARETU left Sydney on Tuesday for Fiji and Auckland. TEES is due back at Lyttelton from the Chathams to-night. To leave Lyttelton on Monday for Wellington and Waitangi. COASTAL SHIPPING. WINGATUI did not arrive at Wellington from Portland until last evening, and subsequently will not arrive here until to-morrow. PAUA was dispatched from Wellington yesterday for Napier. WAJMARINO, from Auckland, via Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton this morning to discharge general Auckland cargo. The vessel leaves lor Dunedin and Timaru this evening. She is expected to return here on December 2 to load for Wellington and Auckland. CALM was an arrival at Lyttelton this morning from Wanganui, via Wellington. She loads here for Dunedin,

Bluff and Timaru, and sails for southern ports this evening. MAHANA left W*ellington at 2 p.m. yesterday for London, via Panama. OPIHI, from New Plymouth, via Wellington. is due here to-day to load for southern ports. The vessel should return to Lyttelton on December 3 to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. PROGRESS, from ’Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton to-day to load for ’Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. BREEZE was dispatched from Wellington to Dunedin direct last evening. The vessel is due here to load for Wellington and Wanganui on Tuesday. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. CANADIAN CRUISER is expected at Auckland on January 8 from Montreal. The vessel made her departure from Montreal on November 25 for Auckland, ■Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. ATHELQUEEN, a tanker to the agency of the Union Company, is due at Wellington from San Pedro on Sunday. GOLDEN COAST, at present at Auckland discharging Pacific Coast cargo, is expected at "Wellington on December 2, and at Lyttelton about December 7. TISXARE.Y, from Los Angeles, left San Francisco on Nevember 25 for Auckland, Wellington and Bluff. Due Auckland on December 16, Wellington December 20 and Bluff December 24. WAIKOUAITI is expected to leave Lyttelton to-day for Dunedin. Bluff, Sydney and Newcastle. OVERSEAS VESSELS. TURAKINA left Auckland yesterday morning for Wellington and Lyttelton. The vessel should arrive at Wellington to-morrow and Lyttelton about Thursday next to continue her unloading of Liverpool cargo. RANGITIKI, from Southampton via Panama, is now due at Auckland on December 22 and Wellington on December 2S. CORINTHIC is expected to arrive at Wellington on December 16, and after discharging her passengers and mails comes on to Lyttelton to commence discharging. CITY OF DELHI left New York on November 19 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Due at Auckland on December 21. ROTORUA is due at Wellington tomorrow from Southampton via Panama and Suva. The vessel is due here on December 6 via Port Chalmers. REMUERA is an expected arrival at Wellington on Sunday. The Port Hunter, en route from New York, reports by radio that she expects to arrive at Auckland on Sunday afternoon. She has cargo to discharge at New Zealand ports. THE MAT ATS MOVEMENTS. The Government lighthouse steamer Matai has left Auckland in continuation of her voyage to the northern lights. She is due back at Wellington on December 5. MESSAGE FROM TAINUI. The Tainui, which left Napier on November 20 for London, via Panama, has reported by radio that fine weather has been experienced since leaving, and that all are well on board. The vessel expects to arrive off Pitcairn Island early to-morrow morning. PERSONAL. Captain J. J. Smith is in command of the Kapiti, which has recommissioned at Wellington, and he has associated with him the following officers;—Mate, Mr R. Hart; chief engineer. Mr A. Clarke; second engineer, Mr C. H. Everett. Mr J. Wyllie, chief engineer on the liner Westralia, arrived at Wellington on Tuesday by the Ulimaroa. He intends to be in New Zealand about six or seven weeks. MATAROA’S FAST TRIP. The Maturoa, which left Auckland on October 22, arrived at Southampton on Monday morning, after a fast passage of thirty-three days. MAORI DELAYED. The ferry steamer Maori encountered a strong southerly wind on her passage from Wellington last night and was half an hour later, in. arriving at Lyttelton this morning. The weather conditions at Wellington yesterday were very boisterous and few ventured to make the trip south. SMART PASSAGES. The New Zealand Shipping Company, Ltd., have received information from the master of the liner Rotorua stating that the vessel is expected to arrive at Lyttelton at 6 p.m. to-morrow, being two days ahead of her scheduled date of arrival.
