TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Miss Frances Raine (Christchurch) is spending a few days with Mrs G. A M. Macdonald (Orari). Miss Joan Wood (Waimate) has re turned from Waiau, North Canterbury. Miss Oliver C Surry Downs") is the guest of Mrs W. C. Burns (Church Street). Mr and Mrs Charles Miller (Woodbury), who have been staying at the Bungalow (Wai-iti Road), have left for their home. / Miss Olive Lyon (England), who is the guest of Mrs Robin Harper (Four Peaks), is expected to-day to stay with Mrs W. H. Orbell (“The Levels’). Miss Joan Ritchie (Dunedin), who is the guest of Mrs G. H. Cossins ( Ardnaquere"), will leave to-day for Auckland to meet her aunt, Mrs lan Mac kenzie (Maple Bay), who will arrive on Sunday by the Niagara. Miss Joy Upton (England), who is the guest of Mrs F. J. Rolleston (Le Cren’s Terrace), will leave to-day to join Mrs Hector Rolleston (Welling ton) in Christchurch, before leaving for the North Island.
