DOMINION WANTS TO BE KINGDOM OF CANADA
ALTERATION OF TITLES PROPOSED IN HOUSE. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received November 27, 12.45 p.m.) OTTAWA, November 26. The restoration of the granting of titles to Canadians, alteration of the designation of Canada as a Dominion to that of the Kingdom of Canada, and also the changing of the title of Governor-General to that of Viceroy, are proposals contained in a motion tabled in the House of Commons by Mr Armand Lavergne, deputy-Speaker. Mr Lavergne is a Conservative member from Quebec.
