Meat Transport.

• To tli* Editor* Dear Sir, —The conveying of meat from abattoir to city by at least one dilapidated motor caravan, which I am certain would not be tolerated even in the backblocks, is to be seen coming into Sydenham. It has apparently met with an accident, some time ago. There are several overall patches, some over part of the name, and it is years since it has been painted, and it certainly is no credit to the owner or city inspectors to allow it in its present state to convey food for human consumption. It is talked of her* as the dog meat van. Trusting some person will send you a photograph of it.-—I am, etc., TRUTH.
