GUARD SERIOUSLY INJURED BY TRUCK
Per Press Association DUNEDIN, November 27. A. J. Breayley, a guard, while shunting at the Tapanui station yesterday afternoon, slipped under a wagon and the wheels passed over his legs. He sustained a compound fracture of the left ankle. a broken thigh and a badly crushed leg. Breayley was removed to the Tapanui Hospital in a critical condition. Breayley was a married man residing at Eden£ale. Ilis right leg has been amputated
