RIFLE SHOOTING.

TECHNICAL COLLEGE MATCHES. At the Christchurch Technical High School’s annual rifle meeting last Saturday, there were several matches in which two or more competitors tied for first place. In order to come to a definite decision, it was necessary t-> shoot these matches again. The matches were shot again yesterday,-with the following results:-—’-.303 Series. (Open as regards age.) Match 1, 200yds slow, with 4ft target; seven shots and two sighters—Cadet F. Perrers 1, Corporal C. Brewer 2. LanceCorporal J. Brewer 3, Under-Officer R. G. Day 4. .22 Series. (Open to boys under seventeen years on October 1, 1030.) Match 3, rapid, with No. 2 target with inner bull; ten rounds in 90sec— Cadet J. Brown 1. Cadet C. Heazlewood 2, Cadet L. Quigley 3.
