Mrs Hugh Acland, Brown’s Road, is visiting Hawke’s Bay. Mrs Herbert Robinson, Picton, is the guest of Mrs Keith Ollivier, Rugby Street, Merivale. Miss Cicily Lascelles, Melbourne, is in Christchurch and is a guest at the United Service Hotel. Mr and Mrs H. Luke (Wellington) are guests at Warner’s Hotel. Miss I. M’Kenzie, Christchurch, has been the guest of Miss Dorothy Leete, Akaroa, for a lew days. Miss Elsie Keegan, Akaroa, has been the guest of Mrs F. Truscott, The Spur, Redclifis. Misses Z. Hart (Dunedin) and M. G Hart (Lawrence) .are staying at the United Service Hotel. Mrs Alfred Rhodes, Akaroa, accompanied by her sister, Mrs Bachelor, Christchurch, is visiting her son, Mr A Rhodes, Wellington. Miss Gladys Gaisford, Dannevirke, who was spending a short holiday, as the guest of Mrs T. Masefield, Akaroa. has returned to Christchurch. Canon J. R. Wilford and Mrs Wilford left last evening for Wellington to connect with the Mahana for England. They will return to Christchurch early in 1932. Mrs Deans, Riccarton House, her daughter. Mrs Burgis, England, and her granddaughter, Miss Norah Deans, Kirkstyle, who have been for a trip to England, are expected in Christchurch on Tuesday morning.
