BANKING CORPORATION BUYS BIG PREMISES.
AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND GROUP IN N.S.W. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November. 27, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 27. Property known as Stanton House, Pitt Street, near the General Post Office, was sold to the Australian and New Zealand Banking Corporation for £150,000. The building was only completed in September, and is amongst the most handsome structures in the city. It is the intention of the new bank to commence operations in the new year.
