LEGACIES GIVEN TO PUBLIC HOSPITAL.
Two handsome legacies have just been made to the North Canterbury Hospital Board. It was reported at this morning’s meeting of the board that the Public Trustee had written stating that Mr Robert Pepperell had left a sum of about £3500 for the general purposes of the Christchurch Hospital Messrs Wynn-Williams, Brown and Gresson had written to say that Mr Archibald Binnie had left £3OO for the purpose of endowing a bed at the Children’s Sanatorium for Consumption. Both legacies were subject to a life interest.
