Advice has been received from London by the New Zealand Council of the Royal Life Saving Society that Miss Nancy Webber and Miss Mavis Landon have been awarded the diploma of the Royal Life Saving Society. In view of the high honour attached to this diploma, it has been decided to make a public presentation of the awards to the two young women during the opening of the new club pavilion of the Maranui Surf Club on December 6.
