VICTORIANS REFUSE TO KILL FOR N.S.W. BUTCHERS (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, November 24. Fresh meat supplies in Sydney are almost exhausted as result of the slaughtermen’s strike, but the master butchers have arranged, with the assistance of their staffs, to kill stock in country centres. Union representatives have been sent into the country to picket abattoirs and watch for illegal slaughtering. A&vice has been received by the local union secretary that Victorian slaughtermen declined to do any killing for New South Wales. They also irfformed their employers that any attempt to force them would lead to extension of the strike.
