FISHERMAN UNDERGOES PERILOUS EXPERIENCE.
(Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND, November 25. D. Whitelaw, a young Auckland fisherman, whose home is in Arney Crescent, had a perilous experience when his launch broke down off Tiritiri Island, and he had to make a landing bv beaching the craft at Whangaparaoa. Without food or water, and blinded by spray, he had a herculean task to prevent the launch from foundering.
