Rush Made To Area Where Every Pan Of Sand Yields An Ounce.

A miner has discovered what is believed to be a rich gold strike in the Yass district near Jerawa. A prospector reported sand between two hills yielding an ounce of gold to the panful of sand. There has been a general rush to peg out claims.
