ST JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE MAKES AWARDS
During the St John Ambulance Brigade social on Saturday evening the following members were presented with certificates by Colonel G. Barclay, De-puty-Chief Commissioner for New Zealand. Mr if. R. Koskella, certificate of commendation, for promptness and skill in the case of an accident, which was the means of saving life. The five years’ service certificates were presented to: Mesdames Fricker, Gibson, Thorn and Thomas (Christchurch Nursing Division) and Mr W. Palmer (Christchurch Men’s Ambulance Division). Cups and trophies in connection with the corps competitions were also presented to successful competitors and representatives, of the winning squads.
