REFORMER URGES SMALLER PARLIAMENT.
SAYS GOVERNMENT COST IS TOO GREAT JUST NOW. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, November 25. Speaking at a big meeting of representative Reformers at Maungaturoto vesterday, the chairman, Mr H. W. Crawford, of Whangarei, urged a reduction in the number of members of Parliament by one-third to ensure greater expedition in handling the business of State and to reduce the cost of Government, which, he said, was now altogether too great.
