A pleasant afternoon was recently spent at North Linwood Kindergarten, when Miss Hull, who has been attending the Pan-Pacific Conference, was tendered a welcome home by the local committee. There was a large attendance of parents and the guest of honour related her experiences while she was away. The photos of Honolulu and members of the Pan-Pacific Conference, who attended from all parts of the world, proved very interesting. f •’<■*•*l. The Legislative Council met in Wellington at 10 a.m. to-day, when the Imprest Supply Bill No. 4 was received from the House and put through all its stages and passed. The Council then adjourned until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
