AIRMEN START ON ATLANTIC FLIGHT.
BOYD AND CONNOR LEAVE FOR ENGLAND.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received October 10, 9.5 a.m.) VANCOUVER, October 9. A message from Harbour Grace (Newfoundland) states that Captain Errol Boyd (a Canadian) and Lieutenant Harold Connor (United States), navigator, took off for England in the ’plane Columbia at 11.20 on Thursday morning.
Captain Errol Boyd and Lieutenant Harry' Connor were held up at Harbour Grace on September 14 by bad weather. They have since been waiting for a favourable chance to hop off.
