Mr and Mrs W. H. M’Alpine (Auckland) are at the Hotel Federal. Mrs Sherratt, Gisborne, is a guest at Warner’s Hotel. Mrs Douglas Macfarlane and her small daughter Margaret, will leave tomorrow for their home, Rafa Downs. Mrs Sclanders, Singapore, is visiting her sister, Mrs L. Hewitt, Papanui Road. r Mrs H. S. Fox. Riccarton, who has been visiting in the North Island, has returned to her home. Mrs L. Graham. Herne Bay, Auckland, is staying with her sister, Mrs Jack Poulton, Ferry Road. The Rev W. H. S. Iline and Mrs Hine, Stewart Island, are staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Mrs H. IT. Webb, “Coolavon,” Timaru, is visiting Christchurch for the Christ’s College sports. Miss Rosamund Rolleston, LeCren’s Terrace, Timaru, is the guest of Miss Betty Bowen for a few days. Mrs James Ilay, Fendalton, has returned from a visit to Mrs H. LeCren, Fairlie. Mrs and Miss Tipping, Shirley, are spending a week with friends in Merivale. Mr F. R. Jones, Wellington, and his sister, Miss Jones, arrived in Christchurch this morning, to attend the. Shrist’s College sports. Mr and Mrs A. J. Murray, “Woodbank, M are the guests of Mrs Derisley Wood, Cashmere Hills, for the Christ's College sports. Miss Betty Kiver, Papanui Road, will leave to-morrow evening for Wellington, and will be the guest of Mrs Vincent Ward, Heretaunga. Mrs A. B. Martin, Martinborough, Mrs Harcourt Arthur, Wellington, Mrs F. J. Nathan and Miss P. Nathan, Palmerston North, are guests at the United Service Hotel. Mrs IT. A. Webb (Timaru), Mr and Mrs H. S. Fenwick. Dr and Mrs Fitchett (Dunedin), Mrs I. Thomas and Mrs A. A. Dewsbury (Wellington) are guests at the United Service Hotel.
