One-eyed Critics.
To the Editor. . Dear Sir,—l have never seen more oneeyed critics of Rugby than followers of the Christchurch Club. If we were to believe them, the only way to beat the Englishmen would be to put the Christchurch team in the field. Now, they have got Hart, and Cottrell and Stewart in the All Blacks, and they are not satisfied because they haven’t got Mullan and M’Gregor there too. If they are such a great club team, why don’t they clean up everybody else? And as for Read Masters not selecting M’Gregor for Canterbury, that was done by M'Gregor’s own club coach. Why not be fair in regard to Rugby selection?—l am, etc., NOT CHRISTCHURCH.
