The Commercial Mercury .
To the Editor. Dear Sir, —Why do we begin to think oi cheer circles only when we are in a financial depression, or as they would have it, foolishly thinking that we are in for a depression. It is a very happy idea, this brightening your own little corner, with a smile-and-the-world-smiles-with-you attitude in business. But I would be interested to know are women eligible for membership to the circle? It 6eems to be run by business men. I assume that they realise that it is the women who must be cheered up, for they are the buyers, the mercury, you might say, in the economic thermometer. —• I am, etc., SUNNY.
