Night Noises.
To the Editor. Dear Sir, —I hope that the Clock Tower, when it is moved into its new residential position, will not chime or strike, as we in the west end already have too much noise at night from the College clock and the town clock. I think it would be a good
thing to arrange the mechanism so that these clocks would not strike between 10 pan. and 8 ajn.—X am, etc., LET THERE BE J’EACE.
