REDCLIFFS CROQUET CLUB.
The annual meeting: of the Redcliffs Croquet Club was held on Wednesday evening at the residence of K. Nettleton. In the absence through Indisposition of th© president, tors E A Teppett, Mrs D. Coleman was voted to the chair. There was a good attendance. The annua! report and balancesheet were read and confirmed, and officers and committee elected as follows: President, Mrs M 3. A. Teppett; hon secretary and treasurer, Mrs F. O. Strong; Captain, Mrs P. Coleman; vicecaptain, Mrs S. Williams: delegate to Centre, Mrs Beeby; green supervisor, Mrs B. Franklin; committee, Mesdames Tutill, Dixon, Senior, Purchas, Swainson, Edmonds and Nettleton; executive committee, Mesdames E. A. Teppett and F. O. Strong, Messrs H. Nettleton and F. O. Strong. The financial position of the club was considered very satisfactory. It wss decided to raise the subscriptions to £1 ss. The greens had been carefully top-dressed and there was every prospect of a vtery successful year. The president passed a heartv vote of thanks to Messrs Nettleton and Strong for their interest in the club and great help. The outgoing captain, Mrs Beeby, was congratulated for her untiring interest in the club during her three years' captaincy. Sympathy waa expressed with Mrs Teppett in her illness.
