MR SCULLIN REPLIES TO MR STIMSON S MESSAGE.
(United Press Assn.—-By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 28, 3 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 27. Mr H. L. Stimson has received the following reply to his message to Mr J. H. Scullin, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth: “Your message of congratulations is very much appreciated. Wc are all very proud of the achievements of Squadron-Leader KingsfordSrmt.h and his companions. KingsfordSrtiith has not only added lustre to Australia’s name in almost circling the world, but he has also, as you suggest, materially assisted in bringing our two countries into closer relations.—Signed, J. 11.
