FINE PICTURES FOR THE STRAND THEATRE.
The programme at the Strand Theatre is headed by “Our Dancing Daughters,” starring Joan Crawford, with Nils Asther, Anita Page, Dorothy Sebastian and John Mack Brown. The storycentres round the pleasure-bent lives of three society girl friends, who represent the foremost types in modern youth. The second picture is “Across to Singapore,” starring Ramon Novarro, with Joan Crawford and Ernest Torrence. It is a brave and absorbing story of three brothers, the sea and a girl. There is an interesting supporting programm'd.
