RUNAWAY ’PLANE HAS REMARKABLE FLIGHT-
CRASHES IN FLAMES AFTER 20 MINUTES. (United Press Assn.—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) ROME, April 1. Spectators at C-iampino Aerodrome witnessed an extraordinary runaway flight by a pilotless aeroplane which did a series of complicated manoeuvres at a height of 600 feet before crashing in flames. The pilot who was about to ascend left the cockpit momentarily, but accidentally started the engine. Before he was able to intervene, the aeroplane rose beautifully and began hair-raising evolutions, always keeping a circular flight. After twenty minutes a gust of wind threw it into a slide and the machine crashed.
