The engagement is. announced of Miss Jean Webb and Mr Charles Woodham, both of Hornby. The engagement is announced of Rona, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Herbert El worthy, of “ Craigmore,” Timaru, to Alan Patrick, son of Mr and Mrs W. Kinross White of “ Omarunui,” Napier. The marriage will take place this month of John, the only son of the late Richard Franklin, 0.8. E., Gidca Park, Essex, England, and Freda, the youngest daughter of Mrs S. E. Burnard, of St Albans Street.
