MANUKA’S LIFEBOAT RECOVERED AT SEA.
FITTED WITH REPLICA OF SHIPS WIRELESS SET. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 11. One of the Manuka’s lifeboats has been found at sea and towed by a fisherman into Tautuku Bay. This is the boat that was crushed and cut adrift after the transfer of its passengers. Its recovery is of some importance, for this boat was fitted with a miniature wireless set, a replica of the Manuka’s main set.
