TRANS-SIBERIAN MAIL ROUTE IS RE-OPENED.
{United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) TOKIO, February 1. The through service from Japan to Europe via the Trans-Siberian railway, was re-opened to-day. Tokio despatched its first direct mail since July.
The recent dispute between Russia and China concerning the Chinese Eastern Railway was the cause of the stoppage. That line,is an important link in the trans-continental system.
