Colonel M’Donnell has sent word, “ Cdme in and your life will be spared.” Te Whenuani, another Urewera chief, has sent word that he will go to Ohinemutu whenever he receives word that he will be received. Floods have prevented the advance of M’Donnell and Kemp.
