LATE PERSONALS.
The lion A. D. M’Leod was a passen ger from the north this morning. Mr W. Stewart, Commissioner of Crown Lands, left Christchurch to-day An visit to the North Island. Lady and Miss Fenwick were passen gers from the north on this morning’* ferry steamer. A cable from London states: The King has approved of the appointment of William Seeds, High Commissioner on the Inter-Allied Rhineland High Commission, to be Ambassador at Ric d - Janiero.
