OBITUARY.
One of the best-known and respected residents of Fairton, Mrs Agnes Martin, passed away at thi residence of her son, Mr 11. Martin, on Friday afternoon. The late Mrs Martin had lived in the Fairton district for the past thirty-five years, and during the early days had always taken a keen interest in all social matters. Mrs Mar tin had been in bad health for the \ ast two years. She leaves a family of four sons and one daughter. One son. Mr William Martin, was killed in the Great War, and another died on his return from disabilities contracted at th war. The names of the family are as follows:—Mrs B. Crossan (Glenhope, West Coast), Messrs Henry, Ernest, Frank and James Martin.
