ANCIENT SETTLEMENT UNEARTHED AT BADEN,
BERLIN, December 4. The excavations in Singen, which have for the time been discontinued, have disclosed, among other finds, the remains of a settlement dating from the neolithic, the bronze and the socalled La-Tene ages, with a fireplace, stone axes and millstones. and bronze and clay vessels. A Celtic burial place dating from the fourth and third centuries before Christ has also been laid bare, with 23 graves.
