r. J. Munro, W. 9. Newburgh, T>T Pairman and Dr Sandston have tied with H. Dickson, W. S. Atkinson. G. Lewis and A- Dickson for the rinks championship. The play-off will probably take place this week. In the pairs championship 8. C. Dixon and Dr Marks have tied with G. Lewis and W. S. Atkinson in A section and have to play off. F. PSargent and C. H. Piper have tied with A. Dey and J. Ainger in B section and have to play-off.. In the singles championship the games are not very far advanced, thera being three more rounds to be played. The following are left in: —Section A—M’Dougall, Sargent, Lewis, Bainsdale, Dr Sandston, Newman, W. Brown. W. S. Atkinson and Smithson; section B Dr Sandston, Munro, Barnsdale, Woolf, Maddren, Wright, Atkinson. Ainger, Dr Marks, Lewis and M’Dougall. CANTERBURY CLUB. CHAMPION SINGLES. There were forty entries . The following players have not been defeated:— Cherry, Delargey. Finnegan, Haworth, Mavnard and J. C. Smith. The following have one life:— Barnes. Bartlett. English. Fox, Lewis, Macdonald and Raphael. CHAMPION PAIRS. There were thirty entries. The following pairs have won all their games:— A. Baker and Sewell, Maynard and Harkess. Macdonald and English. Barnett and Finnegan, Smith and Cherry, Piper and Delargey, Barker and Halliburton. The following have one life left: —Lawrie and Raphael, Robinson and Barnes, Lewis and Summers, Wilson and Fox, Gray and Bartlett. CHAMPION RINKS. I In section A.
