LINWOOD CLUB. J The championship competitions in 1 the Llnwood Club are now well advanced. The following are the present posi- j tions of the play in the various sections:— Rinks, No. 1 Section. Ellis, Hannah, Smcaton and G. Dickson and Jones, Aughton, Petrie, D. Dickson, with five wins each have tied in this section and will play off to decide the winner. Hutton, Davie, Inwood and Miller won four games, Brown, W. Butler, C. Butler and C. Iggo and Whitting-, Tustin. Allen and Williams won three games, Munro, Jef coate. Kellaway and H. Wilson, and Teasdale, Horsley, Muirson and Sprosen won one game, and Pullar, Bendall. Clemens and Kilner had no wins. Rinks, No. 2 Section. Hilson, Good, Kinvig, and H. C. Wilson with six wins won the section. Kingsland. Chivers, sen., Drayton and M’Kinley had five wins, Phillips, Stewart, Holliday and Haworth, Shaw, Free, E. A. Chivers and Burson, and Pegg, Benzie, Redpath and Laurenson had four wins. Davy, Douds, Boyce and Kershaw had three wins, M’Robb, Yellowlees, Williamson and Read had two wins, and Taylor, Bridgeman, Jameson and Vincent had no wins. Pairs, No. 1 Section. Muirson and Sprosen, and Boyce and Kershaw with four wins each tied in this section. In the play-off Muirson and Sprosen beat Boyce and Kershaw, i Ellis and Petrie had three wins, Pegg and Tustin one win, and Jefcoate and H. Wilson and Yellowlees and Brown • had no wins.
