SUCCESS MARKS BEACH SPORTS AT TAKAMATUA.
The Takamatua beach sport* were held on Saturday In fine weather. There was a large attendance from all parts of the Peninsula, the sum of £33 being taken at the gates. The officials under Mr Frank Armstrong (chairman) work-j ed hard to ensure the success of the j gathering. Following were the results of the events: — Tliread-the-needle Race (men)-—R.
