Press Association. GISBORNE, January 4. A Maori, Jimmy Whitu, aged 50, died on admission to the Te Puia hospital last night from injuries caused by being thrown from a horse on Christmas Day Deceased had previously been ordered to the hospital by a doctor, but his relatives kept him at home.
