DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS OPENED WITH IRELAND. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. > (Received January 4, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 2. The Dublin correspondent of “The Times’’ states that the first step towards the establishment of a German Legation in Dublin was taken when Dr George von Dehn. Consul-General, presented his credentials as Charge d’Affaires and expressed the hope that it was the beginning of direct diplomatic relations that would lead to closer trade and cultural relations be tween Germany and Ireland.—“Times' - Cable.
