CANADIAN BOWLERS ARE GIVEN WELCOME.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 2. The Canadian bowlers were formally welcomed at a large gathering on the Auckland green this morning. Mr Hardley, past president of the Dominion Bowling Association, speaking on behalf of 16,000 New Zealand bowlers, said that they appreciated the opportunity to reciprocate the hospitality extended by the Canadians to this Dominion’s touring team. Dr Krupp, for the visitors, said that they were more than delighted with the magnificent welcome accorded them. They brought messages of goodwill from the bowlers in Canada.
