RAILWAYS ARE HAVING A BUSY TIME TO-DAY.
The railways are continuing to have a busy time to-day. Up to eleven o’clock, 500 passengers had booked through to Lyttelton. The West Coasi train was full, and two special trains for the south, as well as the ordinary expresses, were all full. The passenger returns will not be available for some days yet.
