LODGE MEETING.
The half-yearly meeting of the Lily of Richmond Lodge was held in the ledge room, Avalon Street, A.D. Brother Marsh presiding over a good attendance of brethren. It was agreed that the crockery be loaned to the home and school committee, who were holding a bazaar shortly. An invitation from the Queen of the Oak Lodge was accept-, ed. The balance-sheet showed the lodge to be in a good financial position. -All funds had been invested advantageously. A hearty welcome was extended to Brother Lawson, of the Anchor Lodge. The election of officers resulted as follows: Arch Druid, Brother W. Bartram; V.A., Brother Millward; secretary. Brother Jackson; treasure'!*. Brother O’Donoghue; minute secretary. Brother Lake; A.D.R., Brothers M. Davies, and F. Moody; 1.G., Brother Crowhern; 0.G., Brother Clarke; V.A. Bards, Brothers Carter and Lindsay; delegates Grand Lodge, Brothers Cooke, Lake and Thorne; emergencies, Brothers Aldous and Moody; trustee. Brother P. Buist; delegates U.F.S. Dispensary, Brothers Cooke and Marsh; delegates U.F.S. council, Brother Marsh; delegates U.F.S. Benevolent Association, Brothers Conray and Lake. The officers were installed by D.P. Brother Blogg, who received a hearty vote of thanks for his impressive installation. A vote of thanks for his services to the lodge was passed to P.A Brother Willeox, who will receive his diploma on the first lodge night in January. The membership has increased for the half year by 23. There are now 241 financial members on the roll.
