FARMER NOT MISSING: FRIEND HAD FORGOTTEN TO SEND TELEGRAM.
(Special to the ** Star.”) AUCKLAND, December 10. Searched for by anxious relatives for ten days, Arthur William Wood, one of the best-known farmers in the Waikato district, for whose safety fears were entertained, has been traced. Owing to the failure of a Papakura resident to send a telegram, which was handed to him for transmission on November 27, Mr Wood's family were not informed of a change in his plans and that he was engaged in the purchase of a farm in another part of the province.
