FAREWELL AFTERNOON.
A delightful farewell afternoon was given by Mrs H. Edgar, Mount Pleasant, in honour of Mrs H. E. Musgrave, “ Edenhill,” Mount Pleasant, who is leaving for England shortly. Mrs Musgrave has evinced the keenest interest in the progress and welfare of the district since its inception some years ago. The guest of honour was presented with a bound volume of photographs from the residents, depicting their homes and surroundings. Proceedings, which were of an informal nature, were interspersed with games and competitions. A dainty afternoon tea was served. Amongst those present were Mesdames Musgrave, Edgar, Worral!, Thomas, Webb, Chivers. Owen, Perry, Percival, Edmonds, Hill, Gale, Riley, Ross, Taylor, Willis, Salt, Wagstaff, Pateman. Sams, Yorston. Livingstone, Ede, Kincaid, Claydon, Page. Scott (2) Cannon, Slocombe, Woodford, Williams, M’Lauchlan, Morris, Hughes, Le Ouesne, De Thier, Smith, Harris, Smart, Hunt, Cook Farrar, Neilson, Fleming, Nurses Wellsman and Beck, and Misses Hood-Williams, Scott, Mor gan, Riley and Hunt.
