The Mount Herbert County Council has been asked by the chairman of the Main Highways Board, Mr F. W. Furkert, to keep as many men as possible employed on the roads during the holi days, so that the roads may be kept in a satisfactory condition during that period. The letter was received at Fridav’s meeting of the council.
