LAWN TENNIS.

STRONG WIND AFFECTS PLAY AT WILDING PARK. A strong nor’-wester affected the play in the third round of the senior inter-club competition played on the grass at Wilding Park this afternoon. Play was below the standard seen on previous Saturdays. United proved too strong for Fendalton, but keener competition was seen in matches between Linwood and Avonside. Cashmere had a bye.
