Marjorie Preece, Alan Hewson, Nancy May Clark, Brenda Blackburn. LAVENDER PIXIES. A Pretty Christmas Gift. You require two Tittle dolls, brown silk, 4yd red ribbon, some beads and lavender. Make two little bags from the silk about 24in square, leaving the top and bottom unsewn. Gather the tops round the necks of dolls, cutting little holes for the hands. Now from the bottom, stuff these tightly with lavender so that they bulge out, gather round bottom and let feet poke out. Sew beads down front of each doll and make little pointed caps out of remaining silk. Attach red ribbon to their backs and tie in a bow at the top. Sent in by Minnie Bakes, Styx. A BLACK OUT PUZZLE.
