LATE SOCIAL NEWS.
PLUNKET BAZAAR. On Saturday at her home in Osborne Terrace, Mrs N. M’Gillvray held a miniature bazaar to benefit the funds of the society. The result was very gratifying, due to splendid organisation. The bazaar was held in the gymnasium, which is well suited to the purpose. Some fine work was displayed on long tables arranged at one end of the room, while at the other end a flower stall did a flourishing business. The afternoon tea tables presented a gay and busy scene. Prize winners for the various competitions were as follows:—Cake, Mrs Leaver; breakfast set, Mrs Jones; cosy cover, Mrs Grammer; novelty box, Miss Flavel; crochet bag, Mrs Lill; novelty shoe, Mrs Hamilton.
