BISHOP CLEARY’S HEALTH CAUSES GREAT ANXIETY.
BULLETIN IS ISSUED BY ADMINISTRATOR. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 7. A bulletin issued by the administrator of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dr Buxton, this afternoon, states: —“The condition of his Lordship, Dr Cleary, remains unchanced since yesterday. The deep coma into which his Lordship has fallen continues, and the greatest anxiety is felt. His Lordship’s room at Mater Misercordiae Hospital has been visited by many of the clergy who live in and about the city. Dr Liston and Monsignor Cahill, V.G., have been in constant attendance at the bedside.” At a civic reception in his honour at Hamilton to-day. Commissioner Cunningham, of the Salvation Army, offered a prayer for the recovery of Bishop Cleary.
